Because There Is Never Enough Ninja Turtles
Nickelodeon has created what might be my favorite TMNT show ever. Okay. No. Nothing will ever be as great as the first four seasons of the 4Kids 2k3 TMNT show (it was genius and amazing and the best that TMNT has ever been). However. Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comes in at a close second. Seriously. They took some big risks, but I honestly think that they have paid off. First, they went with a much more lighthearted, goofy tone to the whole show. It's geared toward younger kids, so that makes sense that it would not be as dark as previous cartoons (I mean, in the 2k3 show they had Leo experience and kind of deal with PTSD, It was a very intense season). Each episode is actually broken up into two short episode that is reminiscent of 90s cartoons which I love. And every once and a while, there are full half hour episodes that have a more "serious" serial plot lines that build to a bigger and bigger story (serious is in quotes because they are still goo...
